Instagram has announced two new keyword filters to help limit (and hopefully end) harassment on its platform. The two tools include a custom keyword filter and a default keyword filter. The tools allow you to filter out comments containing specific words. Don’t want to see a certain word appear under your pictures? No problem, Instagram will block it for you.

Instagram’s not the only platform putting filters to good use. Twitter is reportedly on its way to making a similar option available. The new feature is already available to use. If you’d like to check it out, you can do so by following the steps bellow:

1. Go to your Profile

2. Click on the Settings gear icon in the top right corner

3. Click on Comments

4. Toggle “Hide Inappropriate Comments” to automatically hide keywords often reported as inappropriate

5. Alternatively, add your own custom keywords in the text box, separated by a comma

6. Click Done
