3 Devices to Take to a Festival with You This Year

Burning Man. Glastonbury. Mawazine.  It’s summertime, and seemingly no matter where you are in the world there is likely to be a festival where you can bask in the sun, culture, and music for a few days and forget about the stress of everyday life.

The best technology these days is typically also the most portable. Below are three devices that will be traveling with us to every festival we go this year.

Huawei p30

For the past few years, Huawei has been threatening the Google Pixel and Samsung S Series as the premium smartphone maker and 2019 is the year they appear to have won. The Huawei P30 is the best Android smartphone device.

Huawei’s new flagship boasts a massive 4,200mAh lithium-ion battery that offers impressive performance whether you're using social media, streaming media or taking photos. With normal use, the battery life should last a full two days which means a single charge should see you through a weekender.

However, the killer feature of this device is that its main camera boasts 3 lenses; a 48MP shooter, a 20MP ultra-wide and an 8MP lens used for zooming.

The 3 camera set up means that the P20is able to keep up with the more expensive flagship phones from Samsung, OnePlus and Apple. It also offers a never seen before 30x lossless optical zoom. I can not overstate how impressive this is. With this optical zoom, you’ll be able to take pictures from the back of the largest crown but convince your friends you were much closer to the mainstage than you actually were!

Dynavap M 2019

If you haven't yet made the switch from smoking to vaping there is now literally no excuse to not do so. Vaping is more convenient, more efficient and most importantly; healthier for your lungs.

Typically, I carry an electronic vaporizer with me when I go to festivals but the Dynavap is the first manual vaporizer I’ve fallen in love with. Typically manual vaporizers can be very difficult to use especially when compared to electric vaporizers due to the lack of a temperature gauge. However, the Dynavap M 2019 boasts the ingenious ‘Vapcap’ that makes vaping effortless.

To use the vaporizer, you simply apply heat using a lighter. Once the oven reaches vaping temperature, it’ll click to let you know it is time to vape.

Another great advantage of Dynavap is its size and durability. It compares roughly in size to a cigarette which means it’ll fit into even the smallest of pockets.

The vaporizer is also pretty much indestructible. Its entire body is made from stainless steel and has no moving parts so it should be able to endure all the fun and chaos from the most hedonistic of festivals.

Finally, the Dynavap comes with a stash kit. The Kit holds your vaporizer and also contains a compartment for your tobacco and herbal blends. No mess, no fuss, no problem!

Walkie Talkie watch ToyPark 2PCS Portable Digital Wrist Watch Two Way Radio Walkie Talkies

Two of the biggest difficulties at any festival is :

  1. Losing your friends
  2. Having no mobile phone signal

This typically results in me losing my friends for hours at a time and having to party on my own.

This is where walkie talkie watches come in handy. With a decent device, you and your friends can all connect to a pre-agreed frequency and be able to speak to each other no matter where you are in the festival

The best watch on the market is the ToyPark 2PCS

The reception distance of these devices is top quality. They offer a range worthy of some of the best full-on walkie talkies in the market. Not only that but it can be connected to multiple networks with the touch of a simple button.

The battery life is also very impressive. They can last for up to three days after being fully charged. All you need to do is get a set of rechargeable batteries for both radios, and you’re good to go
