
We had the Perseids in August and can look forwards to the Geminids in December, but tonight, we have the chance to view the Orionid meteor shower. Unfortunately, the glare of the moon may keep you from getting an optimal view of the shooting stars, but looking up from a rural location may still get you a view worth staying up for.
If you're not a night owl, you can also attempt to get a glimpse of the Orionids if you wake up before sunrise. However, if you have to miss it, don't worry - the Geminids in December are expected to provide us with an even more spectacular show.
