The Academy Awards List Of Nominations

The Oscar nominations have been released for the 89th Annual Academy Awards that will take place on February 26, 2017 and begin at 5:30 PM PT. This year La La Land dominates the categories along with Manchester by the Sea. This will be Mel Gibson’s first nomination since his fallout with Hollywood and his last nomination by a major Hollywood institute in 2006 when he gained acclaim for his “Apocalypto.” This also proves to be an exceptional year for animated films as the two Disney films nominated have real competition.
