Dolly Parton's Fund Pledges $1,000 a Month to Help Tennessee's Wildfire Victims
DEC 2, 2016
Wildfires continue to devastate the state of Tennessee, and 11 deaths have been confirmed so far. While last night's rains aided firefighters in helping put off flames, the fire still poses a serious threat to residents.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved a grant to help provide resources, and through her My People Fund, Dolly Parton, who is a Sevier County resident, has pledged $1,000 a month to help affected families "until they get back up on their feet."
If you'd like to help donate to victims, you can do so through the Dollywood Foundation page.
