Tokyo-based Designer Makes Skull Jewelry Out of Pearls

Shinji Nakaba is a Tokyo-based designer who makes intricate designs from precious metals, stones, and unconventional items like aluminum cans and plastic bottles. Many of the skulls have the word "vanitas" engraved onto them, which is Latin for "vanity."
