
Stores like Target, WalMart, and Toys R Us are having a hard time keeping up with the demand for this year's most popular toy. Hatchimals are flying off their shelves, and kids can't seem to get enough.
While the toy premiered for about $50, people on eBay are reselling them for almost four times that price. Hatchimals are sold still encased in an egg. Kids nurture the egg until one of two variations inside breaks open the shell, and after it hatches, the Hatchimal is able to learn tricks.
