Scott Campbell, a famous tattoo artist that has worked on the who's who of hollywood, offered to give 15 people free tattoos this past weekend in London. The catch? The tattoo would be a surprise. Campbell decided to take his "Whole Glory" project over to London to ink up 15 lucky individuals who were willing to play ball. "Whole Glory" had already made quite a splash in Los Angeles, NYC, and Moscow. The lucky human canvases had to stick an arm through a hole in the wall so that there was minimal contact with the artist and so that they couldn't see what was happening of course.
Campbell tells Mashable, "When somebody puts their arm through here, I can't help but imagine who they are. The whole time I'm back here tattooing them, I create these stories in my head about who these people are. The tattoo that I do is tailored to that imaginary person...I feel like everybody gets the tattoo that they're supposed to have."
